WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING AN
OFFICE MANAGER 

We are seeking a highly experienced Office Manager to support our team of plumbing and heating engineers working in South Oxfordshire and Central Oxford. This is a remote-working role, but training will be given in our office near Wallingford for up to six months.

Key responsibilities

  • Taking calls from clients and suppliers

  • Daily invoicing 

  • Booking appointments 

  • Liaising with clients 

  • Liaising with engineers 

  • Small fleet management (10 vehicles)

  • General assistance to managing director

  • Filing and other light admin

Skills required 

  • You must be computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Google Maps.

  • You'll be the first point of contact for many customers, so you need a confident and polite telephone manner with an understanding of good customer service.

  • You must be able to communicate well with members of your team.

  • During busy periods you'll need to be comfortable working under pressure and to deadlines.

Experience required

The successful candidate will have at least three years' experience managing an office for a small business. You must be numerate with excellent attention to detail and organisation skills, and highly reliable. The ideal candidate will be personable, approachable, and helpful, with the confidence to make decisions, prioritise and set expectations.

Experience using job management software and accounting software is preferable but not essential.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000-£35,000 per year

Hours: 8am-5.30pm Monday to Friday
